Free audit

Privacy policy

Last updated 11 October 2026. This policy explains what Rankdesk collects when you use the site and how advertising on the site works.

Information you enter

When you audit a URL or fill a tool from a website, our server fetches that public page and its robots.txt and sitemap, and sends the URL to Google's PageSpeed Insights service to measure speed. We do not save the URLs you audit or the results on our servers. Text you type into the generators is processed in your browser and is not sent to us.

Information saved in your browser

Your browser stores details of the last website you audited, such as its name, title and keywords, so the other tools can be filled in for you. This stays on your device. You can remove it with the "Show the example instead" button on any tool, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server briefly keeps your IP address in memory to limit how many audits can run per minute and prevent abuse. Our hosting provider may keep standard access logs for security.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Third-party services

  • Google AdSense, for advertising
  • Google PageSpeed Insights, for speed results in the audit
  • Google Fonts, for the site's typefaces
  • Vercel, for hosting

Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.

Children

Rankdesk is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13.
